Selangor To Non-Muslims: All Right To Use Allah
Submitted by newsteam on Tue, Apr 22, 2014 - 1:00 pmNon-Muslims in Selangor can use the word "Allah" as long as they do not use it to propagate their religion to Muslims, Selangor executive councillor for Islamic affairs Sallehin Mukhyi said today.
He told the state assembly during a question-and-answer session that this is in accordance with the Selangor Non-Islamic Religions (Control of Propagation Among Muslims) Enactment 1988. Read more »

Christian Federation Of Malaysia: Selangor State Government Shirking Responsibility

The Christian Federation of Malaysia (CFM) is disappointed by this apparent attempt on the part of the Selangor State Government to wash its hands off the matter. Read more »

Christian Churches Support Malaysian Catholics Under Attack Over “Allah” Name

The World Methodist Council (WMCI) is the latest body to express its solidarity, shocked and dismayed by the Court of Appeal's ruling in October to bar the Catholic weekly, Herald, from using the word. Read more »

Pope Says Judgments On Annulments Must Be Impartial And Pastoral
