Catholic Lawyers Society Annual Dinner and Dance 2022

The Catholic Lawyers’ Society, Kuala Lumpur (CLS) held a dinner & dance to commemorate their 28th anniversary November 12.

The nett proceeds of the night will be channeled towards the causes of the Society which is currently focused on child protection initiatives with the theme Child Protection — Our Common Responsibility. Read more »

CLS Pre-Christmas Gathering with Migrant and Orang Asli Community

On 17 December 2022, the Catholic Lawyers’ Society (CLS) headed to Kilang Papan, Sungai Lalang, Semenyih to spread the Christmas cheer to the Migrant and Orang Asli Community.

It was indeed an adventure for the volunteers as they had to pass through the muddy, rocky and bumpy road using a four-wheel-drive. Upon arriving, the volunteers were greeted with warm welcoming smiles from the Migrant and Orang Asli Community. Read more »

CLS Retreat 2022

Thirty members of the Kuala Lumpur Catholic Lawyers Society (CLS) gathered at the Bayou Lagoon Resort Melaka for their first annual retreat in three years.

CLS President Godfrey Fernandez thanked the Executive Committee members, especially the younger members who worked tirelessly to arrange a comprehensive retreat. Read more »

Reference For Albert Ng Seng Kiok

Reference proceedings were held before The Honourable Mr Justice Dato Amarjeet Singh at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on 8th September 2022 for the departed members of the Malaysian Bar.

This included the late Mr Albert Ng Seng Kiok, a prominent member of the Catholic Lawyers Society, Kuala Lumpur since its inception. Read more »
